I can no longer follow the judge’s orders; help!

I have been asked many times what can be done to change an agreement after a Decree of Dissolution of Marriage has been filed.

All court orders issued at the time of divorce are enforceable by a range of legal actions.  However, they are also subject to modification when there is a significant change in a situation, such as income, place of residence or the needs of the children.

Do you have questions regarding your situation?  Are you wondering if you can get a modification of custody, visitation, child support or spousal support orders?

Whether or not to alter the child support payments is often within the discretion of the court and not always guaranteed.

At the Orange County offices of Montes Family Law, we have successfully obtained many modifications for our clients.  We have also represented individuals who needed to contest and prevent modifications that would negatively impact their lives and those of their children.  Call us today; we can protect the financial needs of your family.
