Visitation

One of the most contested issues in a divorce is visitation rights.  In most cases, both parents fight for the right to have custody of their child; this often leads to an emotionally charged legal battle.

If the couple cannot come to an amicable agreement regarding custody, the court will decide after a trial which parent will have custody and which parent will have visitation.  The court always keeps the best interests of the child in mind and hopes that both parents will play a significant role in the raising of their child.

Are you in a situation where your ex-spouse, who has physical custody of your child, is making visitation for you difficult?  Has visitation with your child become a concern?  Whether you are currently going through a divorce, attempting to modify your visitation plan, or fighting to enforce the court-approved visitation schedule, contact an experienced Orange County Family Law attorney who will discuss your legal options with you and help you see your child again.
