Parenting plan after a divorce

The court requires all divorcing parents to adopt a parenting plan, which is intended to ensure the child continues to have frequent and continued contact with both parents.

The parenting plan must detail how the parents will share and be involved in the day-to-day raising of their minor child.  It should include parental responsibility, time sharing responsibilities, health care, education and daily activities.  It is used to promote a healthier family relationship in spite of the divorce.

If you are facing the possibility of divorce, you should contact a knowledgeable and experienced Orange County Family Law attorney who will understand your specific case and help protect your future and your rights, as well as the rights of your child.
