Divorce and children

Divorce is no fun.  It is filled with pain, confusion, bitterness and financial expense.  It is especially sad when one party wants it and the other doesn’t.  It gets worse when there are children involved.  If your spouse wants a divorce, but you don’t, consider the following:

·     Is it worth staying together?  Would you and your spouse be better people without each

     other?

·     Would your children be better off if there was no fighting going on regularly?  How does

      constant arguing affect them?

·     Do you still love and respect your spouse?  If so, saving your marriage might be worthwhile.

·     Do you have a good plan to save your marriage?

·     Have you been unfaithful?  If so, are you 100% sure you will stop?
