Divorce and changes

Statistics show that 50% of all marriages will end in divorce.  In Southern California, the rate is higher.

The purpose of marriage has changed throughout the years.  Once upon a time, it was the role of the man to make the living while the woman stayed home to care for the children.  Today, it is different.  Sometimes the man stays home and cares for the children while the woman works.

Expectations are significantly changing – when the lack of interest or desire steps in, divorce may be an option.  There are people out there that believe divorce means they are a failure – this is not true.  Even though when we say, “I do”, it’s supposed to be forever, that is not always the case.

Marriage is constantly changing and it’s not always perfect.  We hope that as we get older, we grow and change together, but when that is not going to happen, divorce may be the only answer.  If your “Till death do us part” is ending sooner than later, contact an experienced Orange County Family Law attorney who will help you get through this troubled time and show you that the road to recovery is closer than you thought.
