Denied visitation rights?

Have you been denied visitation rights with your child?  A family court will deny visitation if it believes that the child is in some sort of danger.

If the court believes, for any reason, that you are taking illegal drugs or drinking excessively, it will deny you the right to spend time with your child.  You may be restricted to supervised visits only until you have proven to the court that you are no longer taking drugs or drinking.  The supervision can be done by a social service agent or a trusted relative.

You will have to complete a court-appointed prevention program before visitation on your own can be implemented again.  However, if there are repeated violations, your rights will be suspended.
