Parental kidnapping

What happens when one parent kidnaps their own child?  Parental kidnapping is the abduction of a child by one parent without the approval of the other parent.

It can be very scary when you don’t know where your own child is – when your former spouse has taken your child away without saying a word.  Unfortunately, parental kidnapping happens too frequently in the United States.

If your ex-spouse refuses to bring back your child, you can ask for help under the Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act.  Contact an experienced Orange County Family Law attorney who will explain what exactly this Act does and how it can help you get your child back home safely.
