Man convicted of child abuse

A 43-year old man convicted of misdemeanor corporal injury of a child skipped his sentencing hearing last week.  Huntington Beach police are looking for him and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

Last November police responded to a call in an apartment building where a neighbor reported a woman screaming for help.  The man told police that no one else was at home with him.  When police searched the apartment, they found a girl bleeding from the mouth and the man was arrested for child abuse.

Not only has he been convicted of child abuse, but he also pleaded guilty a couple of years ago to felony theft from an elder.  He was sentenced to two years in a California prison.

He is now on the run.  Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.  If you or a loved one has been abused, call the police.  If the abuser is your partner or spouse, contact an experienced Orange County Family Law attorney who will protect your rights.  No one has the right to put their hands on another person.
